Spanish Latte ZUS Coffee Northpoint City Review
Heard good things about ZUS Coffee from a few friends, so I finally made my way down to the Northpoint City outlet to see whether it lives up to the hype. I went in not really knowing what a Spanish Latte was, but after checking the description on the app, I figured it should be close enough to the kind of coffee I normally enjoy. Since I was just craving a nice drink that day, I decided not to overthink it and just give it a try. The only thing that threw me off slightly was the ordering process. There was a sign at the counter telling customers to order through the app or kiosk, which is fine if you are already used to it, but I still feel it would be nice if customers could order directly over the counter too, especially for people who are less familiar with the menu or just want to ask a quick question.

I visited on 13 June 2026 and later jotted down my thoughts on 14 June at around 3.50pm, while the taste was still quite fresh in my mind. My order was the Spanish Latte from ZUS Coffee at Northpoint City, and I went for the M size. The drink came up to $5.91 for one cup, which I found pretty reasonable for a coffee drink in a mall setting. These days, cafe-style drinks can easily go higher, so this felt like a decent price for something that tasted polished and satisfying.
The Spanish Latte itself turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I was expecting something milky and maybe a bit sweet, but what I liked was that the coffee strength still came through properly. It had that strong, gao kind of kick without being too bitter or harsh. For me, that is quite important because I do not like coffee drinks that taste mostly like milk with only a faint hint of coffee. This one had a good coffee base, and the overall taste was very much to my liking.
In terms of balance, I would say it was spot on. The sweetness, milkiness, and coffee flavour all worked nicely together, so nothing felt too overpowering. It was exactly what I asked for, which is honestly what you want when ordering through an app or kiosk. Sometimes with self-ordering systems, you worry that the drink may come out different from what you intended, but this one was prepared properly. The waiting time was also normal, around 5 to 10 minutes, so no complaints there. It was not super fast, but also not long enough to be annoying.
One thing to note is that this drink was non-customisable, at least based on my order experience. I did not add any toppings, and there was no topping included. To be fair, for a brewed coffee style drink like this, I do not really need pearls, jelly, or anything extra inside. I was quite neutral about the lack of toppings because the Spanish Latte already works well on its own. Some drinks need toppings to make them more interesting, but this one does not feel incomplete without them.
I can see why people have been talking about ZUS Coffee. It gives off that convenient grab-and-go coffee vibe, but the drink still feels like there is some thought put into the flavour. The Northpoint City outlet is also a practical location if you are around Yishun and want something better than your usual basic kopi or fast-food coffee. Since I usually get drinks like this about once a week, I am quite particular about whether a brand is worth returning to. I also already have 2 to 3 favourite brands that I rotate between, so for a new place to make an impression, the drink has to be solid.
Overall, I would give this Spanish Latte from ZUS Coffee a 4 out of 5. The drink itself was good, the coffee was strong enough, the balance was just nice, and the price was acceptable. My only small gripe is the ordering setup. I understand that app and kiosk ordering helps with efficiency, but having counter ordering as an option would make the experience feel a bit more welcoming. Still, if you are at Northpoint City and want a reliable coffee drink that is smooth, gao, and not too fussy, this Spanish Latte is worth trying.
